An exciting breakthrough in rose development from the talents of Dr. Jim Sproul of Bakersfield, California. After year's of effort, he successfuly crossed a closely related rose cousin 'Hulthemia' with a modern shrub rose. Hulthemias are noted for their stiking colorful eye but rarely rebloomed plus had a wild growth habit. With the successful combination of the modern rose, this new hybrid produces a delightful and continuous display of melon-pink flowers with a red red eye or center. A very novel and colorful landscape accent.
