Here are a few of our favorites right now…but please note that availability and selection will vary by location.
Ramblin’ PetuniasA Pike exclusive. Easy to grow trailing Petunias that produce flowers from the center of the plant from spring until fall frost. They thrive in heat and full sun and come in a rainbow of colors. Excellent for hanging baskets, containers and flower beds. |

LantanaThe perfect choice for a sunny area. Exceptionally heat and drought tolerant, these plants can reach shrub-like proportions as the growing season progresses. Lantana produces constant and long-lived bloom clusters from spring until frost in show-stopping colors and color combinations of yellow, orange, reds and pinks. Their beautiful flowers are butterfly and hummingbird magnets. |
|
GeraniumsUpright-growing plants with showy, flower clusters of red, pink, salmon, white, rose, cherry-red, or bi-colors. For best results, plant in full sun to partial shade. The plant will reach up to 18 inches tall and wide at maturity. Remove spent blooms as they occur to encourage continuous flowering until frost. |
|
CalibrachoaOften called Million Bells, these sun-loving plants are covered with hundreds of small, petunia-like flowers from early spring to fall frost. Plants are vigorous, heat-tolerant and resistant to disease. They remain just 6 - 10 inches tall with long, trailing branches that cascade over the sides of hanging baskets and other containers, and spread over flower beds. They are also a hummingbird favorite. |

MarigoldsSuper easy to grow, marigolds add cheer to any sunny bed, border or container throughout the growing season. French marigolds grow to about 18 inches and produce flowers in gold, yellow, orange, red or bi-colors. African and American marigolds are taller, growing up to three feet or more, with big, rounded, bold flower heads mostly in orange and yellow. Because the leaves have a musky smell that pests (like rabbits and deer) find unappetizing, marigolds are widely used as companion plants in vegetable gardens. |

ImpatiensA mainstay of the shade garden, this prolific bloomer features a variety of colors, including white, red, pink, violet, coral and purple. Plants are typically short and mounding, reaching a height of not more than 12 inches. Impatiens is one of the best and easiest flowering plants for shady areas where it can be used to create carpets of color that will brighten the darkest corners of your garden. They are also useful in hanging baskets, containers and window boxes. |
