Pike Family Nurseries Speakers' Bureau was started in 1979 with one horticulturist speaking to a handful of clubs in the Dunwoody area of Atlanta. Over the past 18 years it has grown to include 60 speakers. Counties served are Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, and Rockdale, along with the cities of Acworth, Fayetteville, Peachtree City, Stockbridge, Cumming, Tyrone, and Woodstock. Since its inception, thousands of individuals have been reached through the Pike Family Nurseries Speakers' Bureau.
Pike Family Nurseries offers this service to non-profit organizations, neighborhoods, civic and senior groups. All of our speakers are Georgia Green Industry Certified, and many hold degrees in horticulture, landscape design, biology, plant pathology or related fields. Each member of the audience will receive a packet of information compiled specifically for the topic chosen.
The fee for a one-hour presentation is $75.00. Speaking engagements are booked for Monday through Thursday, and with the exception of April, speakers are available year round. We ask that reservations be made 4-6 weeks in advance, and that audiences be a minimum of 20 people.

In-Store Tours
Self-guided tours of Pike Family Nurseries retail stores are free of charge and available to gardeners and non-gardeners alike, ages 5 and older. All groups must have at least 4 adults, with a maximum of 20 participants. Tour engagements are booked for Monday through Thursday at 10:00 a.m., and with the exception of April, tours are available year round. We ask that reservations be made 4-6 weeks in advance.
