Largest Independently Owned Garden Center Announces Newest Store in Metro Atlanta
Acworth, Ga. (Feb. 2006) - Pike Family Nurseries opened its newest Atlanta area store on February 6, 2006 in Acworth. This will be the garden center's 27th location in metro Atlanta. Located at 3602 Cobb Drive, Acworth, Georgia, the store will house 10,800 square feet of retail and 40,000 square feet of greenhouse space.
The Acworth location offers customers the widest selection and best quality in plants, stone, water gardening products, design services, home and garden décor in one location. As with all other Pike Family Nurseries locations, all store managers and full-time employees are required to be certified by the Georgia Green Industry Association (GGIA) as Certified Plant Professionals. With the most Certified Plant Professionals in the Atlanta area, employees will be on hand in the new Acworth location to answer lawn and garden care questions, conduct free demonstrations and greet first-time Pike customers once the store officially opens.
