Weed & Feed Solution

Sorry to hear your experience with Pike's Weed & Feed didn't go as planned. With all the rain we have been getting in the Atlanta area it is very much hard for this type of product to work as it should. It sounds like eventhough you did have the minimum time of 24 hours, that might not have been enough for your particular lawn and how wet it already was. I would invite you to try and again on our dime, please visit the contact us page so we can get your details.
Some Feeding but Still Have Weeds!

I have a mature centipede lawn. I am extremely careful that a product is clearly labeled for use on centipede as this one is. The application directions are very specific: apply with no wind, when the grass is wet, and it is not scheduled to rain for 24-48 hours. On 6/4/2013 I applied in the morning with wet grass. It rained the next day .6 inches so I did get the minimum of 24 hours.
After 19 days I have not had a single weed die or even wilt. In particular I was hoping to remove several that are listed on the bag. I talked with the Pikes store about this and they said they had not had any complaints. I also have a less than even green look so overall this has not been a product I would recommend.
I have used this type of product in the past with excellent results. Those products were smaller fine particle that did stick to the leaves, of everything. This product looks like your ordinary fertilizer, round beads, that did not stick to anything. Not surprising given their size. My conclusion is that the product in the bag is not what they think it is but that's just my conclusion based on how it has reacted on my lawn.
