Tall, upright growing azalea with reddish purple single flowers midseason. More sun tolerant than other azaleas but less cold tolerant.

Best planted slightly shallow, allowing top 1" of rootball to be exposed above grade of landscape bed. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. If neccesary prune shortly after blooming season to reshape.
