Summary of Duties and
Responsibilities
Oversees
the design, production and maintenance of custom designed containers for select
stores. Manages special customer requests, participates in materials ordering
& inventory, ensures customer & store success by maintaining sufficient
inventory and ensuring special requests are completed in timely manner. Proactively
supports sales efforts in-store as needed. Participates in leading container
classes in-store.
Education, Prior Work Experience and Specialized Skills and Knowledge

EDUCATION, PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE and SPECIALIZED SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE
· One plus year(s) work-related experience.
· Skilled in container design, arrangement and maintenance.
· Expert knowledge of floral gift, houseplant and annual products as they pertain to successful container arrangements.
· Knowledge and familiarity with specialized container materials/accessories.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
-
· Ensures customer engagement and satisfaction is our #1 priority.
· Knowledgeable in floral gift, orchids, houseplants, annuals and perennials and can assist with all relative products in support of customer containers (indoor and outdoor).
· Help mentor and support team with container garden design/planting know-how.
· Ensures customers success by creating a variety of timely and appealing custom containers.
· Custom container maintenance including ordering materials, participating in pottery selection, producing consistently adequate inventory, maintaining product and pricing.
· Knowledge of Point-of-Sale functions regarding sales, inventory, estimates and special orders.
· Helps solve customer service issues and requests as needed.
· Meets goals established by management for customer container production and inventory levels.
· Follows safe work practices and reports any unsafe working conditions to management.
· Attends store meetings and actively participates in conversations related to IPC/Service sales as directed by management.
· Leads container-related classes & training sessions as requested.
· Performs other related duties and assignments as requested.

Safety First!
Physical Environment/Working Conditions
This position requires some physical activity such as lifting, squatting, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and walking. Unassisted lifting limits between 30 and 50 lbs. Individuals may be required to do any or all of these situations throughout the work day, with an emphasis on walking and standing for a major portion of the day. The outside environment will comprise most of the day with some inside building activity.
