Pink & White Container Garden for Shade

Pink & White Container Garden for Shade

Partial Shade Project
Time: 30 Minutes

Just because your patio or balcony doesn't get much sun, it doesn't mean you have to forego color. There are plenty of colorful plants that thrive in partial shade or even full shade! In this pink and white color scheme we've paired popular shade annuals (begonias and impatiens) with eye-catching perennials (astilbe and bleeding heart) that will come back year after year. While the perennials can tolerate full shade the annuals need a bit of sun. So place this container in a spot that gets 4 or less hours of morning sun and is shaded in the afternoon.
